What is Matthew Quilliam’s Ukulele Online?
An online resource for in-depth, high quality ukulele tuition on an ever-expanding variety of topics. There is something for all levels or ability, with hours of videos and dozens of accompanying downloads for you to enjoy. Take these courses at your own pace – there are no deadlines, tests or exams!

Why should I take a course?
There are many reasons! Maybe you want to explore a new topic or skill, or perhaps you want to brush up on a more familiar one? You’ll get a fancy certificate of completion at the end to show off to your chums! And, every penny of the proceeds goes towards funding independent tutors and artists which will allow for future courses, albums and more for everybody to enjoy.

Do I have to view the lessons in order?
Not necessarily. The lessons are designed to be watched in any order, however the order in which they are presented is the recommended viewing order as some lessons do feed directly into others.

How long do I get access to the courses for?
Payment is taken on a yearly subscription basis. Once you have paid, you will have access for an entire year. Payments will auto-renew until you cancel, at which point you will lose access to all the materials.

Are there live or 1-2-1 aspects of each course?
There are lots of ways that you can engage and interact with your course in a live capacity. Each course includes a free 30 minute consultation with the course tutor – click here to book – with the ability to book further sessions also available. We also run semi-regular online classrooms which will either relate to a specific course or may be about a new or one-off topic! Subscribe to the newsletter to be kept in the loop.

Can I visit the same lesson more than once?
Yes. Feel free to pause, rewind, replay or slow down any of the videos as much as you desire.

What happens if I don’t like the course?
We’re sure you’ll love the course, but in the unlikely event that it does not meet your expectations, simply cancel your subscription anytime.

Do I get a certificate for completing a course?
Yes! To get your certificate, submit the short form at the end of the course and you will receive your certificate within 7 working days. You only have to do this once.

Troubleshooting

What devices can I use to access this course?
The recommended way to access the course is to use a Windows PC or laptop. If you are experiencing issues on an Apple or on a mobile device (phone, tablet etc.), please consider trying again on a recommended device. Alternatively, using a different browser (Google, Edge, Firefox, etc.) may offer better results.

How do I access a course?
Simply click on the ‘See More’ button of any course. The first time you visit, you will be able to subscribe to the course. Once you have paid, the content will now appear in the same place. You may wish to ‘bookmark’ that webpage on your browser.

How do I make payment?
Click ‘See More’ on any of the lessons. This will take you to a page where you will be able to subscribe to access your chosen course. You will be required to make an account with WordPress in order to do so, who will process your payment and store your login details securely.

How do I login?
Once you’ve paid, you will be able to access the content via the Log In button. You will be asked to put in your email, and then be given the option of either creating a password to create an account, or using a link in your email inbox to be logged in without a password. Please be aware that emails can take a little while to arrive, and please check your spam/junk.

The videos aren’t loading?! Help!
Please consider using a different browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox etc.) to view the videos. They are configured so that they run best on Windows PC or laptops.

Is my payent secure?
Yes. Your financial details are held securely by Stripe, a leading transactions provider. Although you will create an account via WordPress, WordPress will never see your details.

What is WordPress?
WordPress is the platform by which the courses are hosted and run. You will create a WordPress account when you sign up to the course, who will manage your access information.

Can I enroll onto more than one course?
Similar courses are offered in a bundle which carry a discount. Once you have purchased a bundle, all the lessons will appear in one place.

My problem isn’t mentioned here.
