I was caught looking very moody at a recent performance in a couple of jazz bands at a local jazz jam night, playing a bit of ukulele and bass. It’s so nice being able to play with other people again after so long.

The more care homes that I’m returning to post lockdown, the more and more it hits me just how vital music is in settings of care.

Last night I was invited to perform in My Life in Song with Will Allenby, discussing the highlights of his career through music and talking.

Rehearsals for the Isle of Wight Ukulele Festival with the Matthew Quilliam Band are now well underway. Here’s the gang from last Monday, we’re all very excited for 22nd-24th October! Hope to see you there

Last Saturday night I had the privilege of playing for a lovely couple’s wedding reception in Morden, London. I spent the day in London, trying not to get hit by the heavy rain, before playing banjo with @thesupremecollective. Thanks again for having me.

Some pre and post show pictures. Had a good time playing a couple of intimate care home guys last Friday in Camberley and Yateley. Wonderfully receptive audiences, a real pleasure to play for.
